POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Format: Paper Poster Presentation (On-site Display)

  1. Poster Size & Orientation
  • Posters must be in A0 size, measuring 841 mm (width) × 1189 mm (height) in portrait orientation.
  • Landscape format is not permitted due to panel size constraints.
  1. Poster Content Requirements

    Your poster should clearly communicate your research in a visually engaging and concise manner. Please include the following sections:
  • Title: Same as submitted, in large, bold font (suggested font size: 72 pt)
  • Authors and Affiliations
  • Background / Introduction
  • Objectives / Purpose
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion and Implications
  • Acknowledgements (if applicable)
  • Contact Information (email or QR code for follow-up)
  1. Design Guidelines
  • Use clear headings, bullet points, graphs, and visuals to enhance readability.
  • Avoid overloading the poster with text; aim for visual clarity and simplicity.
  • Font sizes should be easily readable from 1–2 meters away (suggested minimum: 24 pt for body text).
  • Use high-resolution images and charts (minimum 300 dpi).
  • Posters must be in English.
  1. Printing & Mounting
  • Presenters are required to print and bring their own posters to the conference.
  • Posters will be mounted using Velcro strips or double-sided tape (provided on-site).
  • Each poster board will be labeled with your poster number and session details.
  1. Poster Set-Up and Removal
  • Set-Up Time: [To be confirmed – typically morning of Day 1 or Day 2]
  • Removal Time: [To be confirmed – typically end of Day 1 or Day 2]
  • Posters not removed after the designated time will be discarded.
  1. Presenter Responsibilities
  • Presenters must stand by their posters during the allocated poster session (especially during coffee break timeslot) to engage with conference attendees and answer questions.
  • Poster sessions are designed to promote interactive discussion, networking, and scholarly exchange.
  1. Important Reminders
  • Posters that do not conform to the size or content guidelines may not be displayed.
  • No digital posters will be accepted; only paper-based posters are allowed.
  • EAFONS does not provide on-site printing services – please arrange for poster printing before arriving.
