The East Asian Forum of Nursing Scholars (EAFONS), founded in 1997 by Professor Ida Martinson and colleagues with seven founding members (Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Japan), is an annual platform for doctoral-prepared nurse academics and students to share research and advance nursing scholarship.
